Job summary

Deploy's Client is seeking a skilled multi-skilled Construction Carpenter to join our production team. You will construct, assemble, and install wood and metal framing for modular building systems in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires reading blueprints, using measurement tools, and working with hand and power tools. Travel to active construction sites may be required, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package including insurance, paid time off, and a 401k.

Qualifications

• 2 years of carpentry or construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Ability to read and use measurement tools accurately.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift 50 -75 lbs and perform physical work for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to work in manufacturing facilities, outdoor construction sites, and non-conditioned environments.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to travel for extended periods to active project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Study specifications in blueprints to prepare layout and determine dimensions and material requirements.
• Construct and assemble wood and metal framing for modular components.
• Install doors, cabinetry, frames, subfloor, flooring, drywall, paneling, ceiling grid/tile, wall accessories, hardware, or wall protection.
• Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy and alignment.
• Cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand and power tools.
• Remove damaged or defective parts/sections and repair or replace.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Inspect finished projects to ensure quality standards are met.
• Travel to active construction sites as required to support installation, repair, warranty, and project completion activities.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
