Job summary

JRL Modular is seeking Factory Operatives to assemble modular bathrooms and utility cupboards at their Newark factory. No prior experience is required as full training is provided with all necessary tools and equipment.

Position is permanent PAYE with a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with variable shift times. Candidates should be enthusiastic, reliable and eager to learn, with a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly or basic construction experience is preferred but not essential
• Manual handling and use of power tools preferred but not essential
• A flexible Team player with a responsive and can do attitude.
• Ability to follow a process and work to targets – H&S, Quality and Productivity.
• Punctual with an excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of modular apartments, bathrooms & utility cupboards
• basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical & other maintenance duties
• Ensure all Company procedures are followed.
• To undertake any training as required, and to also assist in the training of other team members in the tasks you are proficient at.
• Ensure factory areas and your work space is kept tidy and clear and that a high level of housekeeping is maintained.
• To work safely and take responsibility for the Health & Safety of yourself and your colleagues.
• Any other duties required by factory supervisors.
