Flexible Worker Contract

Location: Remote (UK Wide)

About the role

We're excited to be looking for Moderators to join our External Quality Assurance team on a flexible worker contract for the following qualification.

T Level Technical Qualification in Health (Occupational Specialism supporting Midwifery)

The purpose of moderation is to check that centres are correctly and consistently assessing student work and that the materials submitted for moderation meet the required standard.

As a Moderator, you will be expected to complete moderation activities, completing reports within specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to a high standard during our moderation window. Moderation activities begin March 2026 through the end of August 2026. The primary moderation period will be between May and August, during which your engagement will be most critical.

How you'll make an impact :

  • Attending team and internalstandardisationmeetings as required, taking ownership of collecting evidence as instructed bythe Chief Moderator
  • DemonstratingCPDacrossyour area of expertise
  • Moderating centre marking and document outcomes in line with quality assurance guidelines
  • Planning moderationactivitiesforprovidersallocated in line with NCFE requirements andthe moderationsamplingstrategy,ensuring a proactive approach is taken
  • Conducting timelymoderation activities to monitor and review performance against AwardingOrganisation(AO) and regulatory requirements to ensure quality and consistency
