Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. in San Diego seeks a modem systems engineer to advance design and ML-driven approaches for WWAN technologies including 5G/6G.

You will explore modem architectures, algorithms, and optimized implementations across teams to shape next‑gen communications hardware and software. The candidate will apply strong C/C++, Python, and Matlab skills, with ML tools such as TensorFlow/PyTorch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree in EE, ECE, CS, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related areas with strong math components.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, Matlab; ML tools and libraries.
