Job summary

Connect Search, LLC is seeking a LIHTC Modeling & Structuring Manager for our Chicago, IL hybrid office. This full-time, direct-hire role focuses on complex tax-incentivized real estate modeling and deal structuring within a Not-For-Profit with RE Deals environment.

You will review and troubleshoot Excel models for new project bids and ongoing projections, coordinate with external counsel, conduct closing audits, and manage investor and credit requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics (Master's or CPA preferred).
• Tax accounting background strongly preferred.
• 4+ years of LIHTC experience, including real estate structuring, debt structuring, and partnership modeling.

Responsibilities

• Review and troubleshoot Excel models for new project bids and throughout the project life cycle.
• Review projections and identify optimization opportunities.
• Recommend changes to enhance yield and address structuring issues.
• Coordinate with external counsel on transaction structuring considerations.
• Conduct closing audits for LIHTC deals.
• Troubleshoot and redesign models as needed.
• Manage investor and credit requests.
• Manage and assist with post-closing change requests.

Type: Full-Time, Permanent/Direct Hire

Pay Range: $100,000 - $110,000 base salary plus bonus
