Job summary

Sedarois is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Intern in Arlington, VA to help build high‑fidelity simulations powering our aerospace platform. You will contribute hands-on to expand the platform, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to translate concepts into robust software.

You will work on data analysis, visualization, and validation of models against real-world data, using Python and modern development practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in engineering, math, or a related field.
• Experience writing software to model complex physical systems.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, and related software development tools & practices.
• Experience validating simulation models against real-world data.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization.
• Experience with Python.

Responsibilities

As a Modeling & Simulation Intern, you will be a hands-on individual contributor helping us expand our platform's simulation capabilities. Your responsibilities may include:

• Developing high-fidelity simulation software and analysis tools for a diverse range of complex systems andvalidatingthese models against real-world data.

• Configuring and executing large-scale multi-simulation studies thatleveragcloud compute resources for uncertainty quantification, sensitivity analysis, and optimization.

• Performing analysis of simulation results and generating impactful analytics.
