Job summary

Sedaro is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Engineer Intern to help build high fidelity simulations powering our aerospace platform. This in-person role sits in Arlington, VA and offers hands-on experience across complex systems.

You will develop simulation software, configure large-scale multi-simulation studies on cloud resources, analyze results, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive model-based optimization.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, math, or a related field.
• Experience writing software to model complex physical systems.
• Experience with git, automated testing, and related software development tools & practices.
• Experience validating simulation models against real-world data.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization.
• Experience with Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-fidelity simulation software and analysis tools for complex systems; validate models against real-world data.
• Configure and execute large-scale multi-simulation studies that leverage cloud compute for uncertainty quantification, sensitivity analysis, and optimization.
• Perform analysis of simulation results and generate impactful analytics.
