Amentum is seeking a Mid-Level Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Developer to support key programs at NSWC Crane, Indiana. This role involves interpreting military mission threads and developing digital representations of system attributes.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of related experience, familiarity with various modeling tools, and must hold an Active US Government Secret Clearance. The position is full-time and onsite, offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an engineering job or scientific research job.
• 1+ years of experience integrating digital models.
• Familiar with digital modeling tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Interpret military mission threads and extract key attributes.
• Develop digital representations of system attributes.
• Integrate elements into modeling toolsets.

Skills

Experience in engineering or scientific research

Integrating digital models

Experience working in secure environments

Familiarity with AFSIM

Familiarity with ITASE

Proficiency in Matlab

Proficiency in Python

Understanding SysML models

Education

Bachelor’s degree from ABET-accredited engineering program, computer science or mathematics major
