Modeling, Simulation & Analysis (MS&A) Engineer (Expert-Level)
Shape the Future of GEOINT Through Advanced Modeling and Analysis

Mission Intelligence Group is seeking an Expert-Level Modeling, Simulation & Analysis (MS&A) Engineer to support critical GEOINT missions for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). In this role, you will leverage advanced analytical methods, simulation techniques, and system modeling expertise to evaluate complex architectures, optimize performance, and inform mission-critical decisions. This is an opportunity to influence the future of GEOINT capabilities while working alongside experienced intelligence and engineering professionals supporting some of the nation's most important missions.

Your Role

As an Expert-Level MS&A Engineer, you will lead the development and application of sophisticated modeling, simulation, and analytical approaches within large-scale System of Systems environments. You will assess architectures, systems, and emerging technologies, guiding stakeholders through data-driven decisions that improve mission performance, operational effectiveness, and future GEOINT capabilities. In addition, you will mentor and provide technical leadership to engineering teams while supporting NGA's evolving mission objectives across cloud and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead modeling, simulation, and analysis activities supporting NGA mission and business objectives.
  • Guide the development and application of complex models, analytical tools, and algorithms to identify trends and patterns within large-scale data environments.
  • Analyze and model NGA architectures, requirements, and system performance to support strategic GEOINT initiatives.
  • Conduct analyses of alternatives, performance trades, and design trade studies for existing and emerging capabilities.
  • Develop recommendations and deployment alternatives based on MS&A findings within NSG architectures and cloud environments.
  • Support evaluation of system performance across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and mission partners to define system and data requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Senior, Mid-Level, and Junior MS&A Engineers.
  • Contribute to innovation efforts involving automation, augmented analytics, artificial intelligence, and advanced data exploitation capabilities.
