Job summary

SimTech, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Analyst, Mid-Level to join a diverse team. The role supports the Missile Defense Agency by evaluating the Missile Defense System using Hardware-in-the-Loop simulations and OSF-based distributed simulations.

Telework may be available in this hybrid position. The position emphasizes hands-on data analysis, Python scripting, and cross-team collaboration, with a focus on testing and validation across CDI, GT, and Flight Test

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or CS.
• 3–10 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with MDA Ground Test CONOPS.
• Familiarity with Objective Simulation Framework (OSF).
• Knowledge of HWIL architecture and DIS/GTISS adapters.

Responsibilities

• Provide M&S framework analysis support for CDI activities, GT events, and Flight Tests.
• Analyze status of current and future OSF capabilities.
• Review test data for simulation performance and accuracy issues.
• Verify and validate event data quality.
• Develop Python tools to support M&S analysis.
• Document and communicate results across teams.
• Collaborate with analysts and engineers on test simulations.
