Job summary

CDIT is seeking a qualified Modeling & Simulation Analyst at Kirtland AFB, NM. You will conduct M&S activities to support analyses, exercises, wargames, and experiments, including developing recommendations and maintaining labs and tools.

Under supervision, you will use RF modeling software (GIANT, GIANT RPM, Builder, STK) and provide instruction on model operation. A Secret clearance with a path to Top Secret/SCI is required or desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required.
• At least 5 years’ M&S experience supporting analyses, exercises, wargames, and experiments.

• Serves as baseline modeling and simulation analyst.
• Under supervision, conducts modeling and simulation functions or operations such as, but not limited to exercises, plans, coordination, demonstrations, and instruction in the fields such as, but not limited to health, environmental, transportation, law enforcement, military, and civil agencies.
• Simulation shall include technical analyses and assessments to develop recommendations, and maintain system integration labs, facilities, and analysis tools.
• Conduct M&S activities in support of the analyses, exercises, war games, and experiments conducted by the Government, to include information exchange and coordination for model capabilities, technical standards, interoperability and reuse, model and simulation support planning, model and simulation data and architecture management, configuration management, development and verification, validation, and accreditation.
• Provides instruction on the proper operation and use of simulation models and exercises.
• May support live, constructive, or virtual training.
• Utilizes RF modeling and simulation software to manipulate antenna and power models that visualize GPS denial in potentially affected areas. Modeling software includes: GIANT, GIANT RPM, Builder, Systems Toolkit (STK), Other modeling and simulation programs as needed.
