Job summary

Legends Global seeks a Data Scientist with Claude Code experience to own analytical and modeling problems from development through production within our Databricks and Azure framework.

You will collaborate with business analysts and engineering across events like food & beverage, merchandise, ticket sales, and sponsorship to build models for lead scoring, retention, and demand forecasting, plus develop web apps to present results to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models.
• Bachelor's in a quantitative field (Masters or PhD preferred).
• Experience in sports, entertainment, or media is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate real-world questions into well-scoped analytical and modeling approaches.
• Build and maintain statistical, Bayesian, and machine learning models for use cases like lead scoring, retention, demand forecasting, and segmentation.
• Apply Bayesian methods to quantify uncertainty and improve decision-making.
• Use LLMs to work with unstructured data and integrate into analytics workflows, and build model pipelines in Databricks/Azure.
• Develop web applications and visualizations (React, FastAPI) to present analyses to stakeholders and enable decision-making.
