Modeling and Simulation Software Engineer

As a full‑stack developer, you will resolve problems with end‑to‑end solutions in a fast, agile environment. You will help create systems that make a difference, from vision to production‑ready code. Your role extends beyond coding: you will adopt new tools and techniques, identify system improvements, and help clients overcome complex challenges using modern architectural approaches.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications.
• Experience with software development using basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
• Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications.
• Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment.
• Experience in mathematics or engineering.
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Nice to Have

• Experience with modeling and simulation.
• Experience developing models, scenarios, and plugins in AFSIM.
• Experience with C/C++.
• Knowledge of radar systems at both the waveform and radar range equation levels.
• TS/SCI clearance.

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimated range represents a component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package, which includes health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours per week are eligible for the benefit programs.

Work Model

• Remote: If the position is listed as remote, you may be required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility on occasion.
• Hybrid: If the position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, and you may also need to visit a customer facility.
• Onsite: If the position is listed as onsite, work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers.
