val's services is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer in Warner Robins, GA to develop high-fidelity models of aircraft subsystems and to design, evolve, and integrate modeling and simulation frameworks. You will apply advanced technologies including AI/ML and conduct real-time HIL or SIL testing for system upgrades.
The role requires 5+ years in military aviation engineering, proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, ANSYS, Amesim or Cameo, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Role: Modeling and Simulation Engineer
Responsibilities: Develop high-fidelity models of aircraft subsystems, including avionics, flight controls, hydraulics, propulsion, and electronic warfare, to enhance battle management and command capabilities. Design, evolve, and integrate modeling and simulation frameworks, applying advanced technologies such as AI and ML. Conduct complex multi-domain simulations, real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing, and evaluate system upgrades and modifications.
Qualifications & Skills: 5+ years of experience in military aviation engineering, proficiency with tools like MATLAB, Simulink, Ansys, Amesim, or Cameo, and knowledge of aircraft subsystem architectures and standards. Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering; ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Optional qualifications include experience with MBSE, flight dynamics, technical data, and certifications like INCOSE ASEP or CSEP.
