Job summary

LIU Post Campus is seeking a dedicated LIU student to serve as a Model United Nations Assistant at the Post Campus. The Model UN Assistant will support the program in student engagement, recruitment, programming, training, travel, and administrative activities, working closely with the Faculty Advisor and the Roosevelt School Dean.

Qualifications

• LIU student currently enrolled in an active degree program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with students, faculty and staff.

Responsibilities

• Meet with the LIU Model UN Faculty Advisor and coordinate program activities, recruitment, training, travel, and events.
• Assist Model UN students with research, writing, and travel arrangements.
• Plan, promote, and attend recruitment, promotional, and fundraising activities for Model UN.
• Represent LIU Model UN at Student Government Association sessions as appropriate.
• Update and maintain the LIU Model UN website and assist with social media and communications.
• Maintain organized records for Model UN activities, events, and travel.
