Acuity is seeking a Model Shop Manager to lead daily operations, maintain equipment, and drive continuous improvement within the Model Shop. You will manage Model Makers, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate across departments to achieve business objectives.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and the use of data analytics to monitor KPIs, manage budgets, and optimize processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing a model shop or similar environment.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to material storage and disposal.
• Proficiency in using business intelligence tools and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop business continuity plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Model Shop and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead a team of Model Makers, hire and develop talent.
• Maintain equipment, documentation, and inventory; support cross‑functional teams.
• Use Power Platform and data analytics to track performance and KPIs.
• Develop budgets, ROI analyses, and supplier continuity.
