Job summary

Goldman Sachs Asset Management seeks a Model Portfolio Specialist in Chicago to drive growth by selling multi-asset portfolio solutions to institutional clients. You will work with financial advisors, deliver investment solutions, and leverage data to identify opportunities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. CFP/CIMA/CFA preferred and on-site collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CFP/CIMA/CFA preferred.
• Practical knowledge of investment and portfolio construction topics.
• 5+ years of client-facing experience with financial advisors and model portfolios.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines and work independently.
• Familiarity with turnkey asset management platforms and model portfolio industry.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and strong follow-through.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise on Goldman Sachs’s Model Portfolios to sell comprehensive solutions to major firms.
• Identify and cover opportunities with a focus on advisor practice management and multi-asset portfolio construction.
• Deliver Goldman Sachs Asset Management solutions through client meetings and events.
• Collaborate with technology partners to guide advisors at the point of sale.
• Leverage data to target advisor opportunities and grow model portfolios.
• Use digital tools to support relationships and share thought leadership in real time.
