Answers in Genesis in Hebron, KY is seeking a Model Maker Assistant for the Jerusalem Model Project. This temporary role supports Exhibit Artists under the direction of senior designers, including sculpting, mold making, casting, painting, and on-site installation.
The hire will collaborate with fabrication and design teams, manage time effectively, and uphold the SERVE core values while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

The Model Maker Assistant (MMA) works in a team with the Exhibit Artists (EA), assisting them to complete the project based on direction from the Sr. Project Designer/Art Director (SPDAD), and the Supervising Art Director (SAD). This could include and not be limited to sculpting, mold making, casting, painting, assembly, detailing, finishing, 3D print model supporting, 3D print cleaning and on-site installation. This position will last for the duration of the Jerusalem Model Project and will end upon its installation.
The applicant must possess the ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining pleasant, flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Strong communication skills, decision-making, and attention to detail are important. They must work independently with little or no supervision.
