Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Modification Technician for our on-site Modification Center. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude and experience supporting daily material handling, modifications, and quality control.

You will pick components, stock and stage goods, and package orders while maintaining a clean, compliant work area. Candidates should have 1–2 years in manufacturing, familiarity with ERP systems, and the ability to use pneumatic and electric tools.

Qualifications

• Strong technical aptitude with knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to utilize common pneumatic and electric tools required.
• Must understand and follow detailed instructions, identify problems, and elevate them to supervision.
• Proven ability to meet customer and management deadlines.
• Results-oriented, process improvement focused.

Responsibilities

• Pick components and move material for modifications.
• Stock and stage products.
• Package orders for shipment.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow 5S guidelines.
• Identify defects and report errors promptly.
• Utilize available software and other technical systems that impact job performance.
• Backfill other team members as required.

Job description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

This opportunity is for a highly motivated, service-minded individual to function as a member of the IDW Modification Center. The Modification Technician will be responsible for servicing the daily material handling needs of the Modification Center as well as assisting in the completion of modifications. This position requires very strong mechanical aptitude along with a quality control-oriented mindset.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for picking components and moving material associated with modifications.
• Responsible for stocking and staging products.
• Responsible for packaging orders for shipment.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean work area and following departmental 5S guidelines.
• Responsible for identifying defects and reporting errors in a timely fashion.
• Utilize available software and other technical systems that impact job performance.
• Backfill other team members as required.
• Other duties as assigned within the site.

Preferred Candidate Qualifications and Skills include:

• Strong technical aptitude, knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, a plus
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to utilize common pneumatic and electric tools required.
• Must be able to understand and follow detailed instructions, skillfully identify and prioritize problems, and elevate them to supervision.
• Proven ability to successfully meet customer and management deadlines.

Required Qualifications and Skills Include:

• Experience with material handling equipment (reach truck, order picker, dock stocker).
• Critical reasoning skills with the ability to identify problems and communicate issues.
• Ability to continually lift or pull with a force up to 50 pounds or more.
