The Sourced Product business is responsible for providing finished goods that are not manufactured in one of the North American plants. This includes product sourced with external suppliers or product manufactured in Asia. The team is also responsible for managing the Service Part offering and fulfillment for both motors and generators. We are looking for a Category Manger to join our team.
As a Modification Technician I, you will be responsible for servicing the daily material handling needs of the Modification Center for completing the daily production of motor and generator modifications. This position requires very strong mechanical aptitude along with a quality control-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and is an effective communicator. You must have problem-solving skills and the ability to comply with all relevant safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
This position is done in a Warehouse environment typically indoors but may require access to outdoors for work at times. This position requires the ability to drive a forklift: Reach Truck, Order Picker and/or Turret Truck. The position requires a person to be able to frequently walk, stand, bend and twist; see, hear and talk; use fingers and hands, handle or feel controls or product; use hands and arms to reach, hold and carry product. Frequently lifting/moving up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. is required. This position also requires a person to handle different temperatures as the Warehouse is hot in the summer and cooler in the winter.
