Job summary

V2X, Inc. seeks a skilled Maintenance Scheduling professional to coordinate 24/7/365 operations in a high-stakes environment. You will plan aircraft and engine maintenance, manage schedules, and ensure documentation complies with SOPs and AFIs, while supporting rapid response to emergencies and contingencies.

The role requires recent experience in production coordination, readiness to travel occasionally, and a working knowledge of IMDS, CEMS, REMIS, and MS Office.

Qualifications

  • USAF or equivalent scheduling training completed.
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Valid US Driver's License.
  • 2 years of recent production coordination and aircraft maintenance scheduling experience.
  • Familiarity with IMDS, EMOC, CEMS, REMIS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule aircraft, engines, AGE, AFE, weapons, and related equipment usage.
  • Develop long-range maintenance plans and inspection schedules.
  • Enter data accurately into DoD and internal databases.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and respond to emergencies and contingencies.

This is a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) Position

SUMMARY: Performs functions in a 24/7/365 Maintenance Operations Center which includes Plans Scheduling and documentation, Supply, and Engine Management functions while meeting the requirements of Company Standard Operating Procedures, applicable AFIs, and the PWS.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
  • Controls, plans and schedules the use and maintenance of aircraft, engines, AGE, AFE, weapons, and associated equipment.
  • Establishes maintenance and operations flying schedules.
  • Develop schedules and long-range maintenance plans.
  • Forecasts time changes and known requirements to meet timely inspection flow, monitors the deferred discrepancy program, projects airframe and engine capability.
  • Monitors’ scheduling effectiveness.
  • Monitors and controls airframe and engine utilization.
  • Attend pre-dock meetings.
  • Uses IMDS, CEMS, and REMIS.
  • Prepares inspection packages and schedules all jobs for Time Change, TCTO, and aircraft/engine inspections.
  • Monitors the TCTO Program and ensures tine change components are ordered.
  • Reviews TCTO status.
  • Ensures all historical maintenance is documented and updated and schedules document reviews.
  • Performs the duties of SRAN and unit Engine Manager, or acts as a liaison to the SRAN Engine Manager including reporting.
  • Conducts and attends scheduling meetings as required by Management.
  • Responsible for entering data correctly into appropriate database systems.
  • Accomplishes maintenance of TO files.
  • Controls and coordinates maintenance activities throughout the maintenance process.
  • Responds to emergency, contingency, and exercise situations using established check sheets.
  • Coordinates and monitors the physical movement of aircraft and coordinates maintenance schedules, actions, and priority changes.
  • Monitors radio net to update status boards.
  • Dispatches personnel.
  • Controls and directs maintenance support requirements during emergencies, exercises, and contingencies.
  • Practices good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention, and safety at all times
  • Maintains hangar and grounds IAW Company and PWS requirements to include snow and weed removal.
  • Participates in FOD walks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
  • Willing to travel on occasion.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
  • Ability to move about both inside aircraft hangar and outside on aircraft ramp within proximity of running equipment and aircraft. Willing to travel on occasion. Perform basic ground handling duties such as towing, jacking and refuel/defuel as needed.
  • Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
  • CLIMBING - Ascending or descending using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized (onto or off helicopter)
  • HANDLING - Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands. Fingers are involved only to the extent that they are an extension of the hand (required for numerous tasks.)
  • EXPOSURE TO WEATHER - Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions caused by the weather (while conducting exterior ramp operations)
  • NOISE - Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds or a pitch or level sufficient to cause marked distraction or possible hearing loss (while conducting exterior ramp operations)
SKILLS AND TECHNOLOGY USED:

USAF Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS), EMOC, CEMS, REMIS, and MS Office software

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education / Certifications:
    • USAF or equivalent Scheduling formal military training required.
    • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level security clearance
    • Valid US Driver's License required
  • Experience:
    • Recent experience in production coordination and aircraft and maintenance scheduling (2 years within the last 5 years).
    • Must possess knowledge and experience in MOC, scheduling, aircraft documentation, EMOC, IMDS, CEMS, REMIS, and MS Office software.
    • Extensive knowledge of applicable USAF AFIs relating to MOC, PS&D, and Engine Management.
