Job summary

Centerspan, a Lifeway Mobility company, seeks mechanically inclined Mobility Technicians/Field Install Technicians to join our Lebanon, PA team. You can own your own truck/van with tools and perform install work, often at customers’ homes, to improve independence.

You will install ramps, stair lifts, and other mobility solutions, handle scheduling, and deliver excellent customer service while earning a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Own your own truck/van with tools and any hands-on mechanical experience (automotive, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, construction, plumbing, installation etc.)
• Be able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Willingness to perform in-home installations and travel to customer sites

Responsibilities

• Install and repair accessibility products, including wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and ceiling lifts
• Develop and maintain working knowledge of equipment installation and repair (training provided)
• Provide evaluation of ramps and stairlifts at the client’s home
• Install all equipment to provide access for the disabled
• Provide service calls for mobility equipment
• Educate customers in proper use of mobility equipment
• Schedule service calls and deliveries based on work orders
• Contact customers and provide in-home technical assistance
