Job summary

Lifeway Mobility in Denver, CO is hiring a Mobility Technician to install and repair wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, ceiling lifts, and related accessibility equipment in customers’ homes. You will perform service calls, troubleshoot systems, and evaluate installations while delivering quality support.

Candidates should own a truck or van with basic tools, have strong customer service skills, and be able to learn through paid training.

Qualifications

• Own your truck or van plus basic tools and reliable transportation.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools in field service.
• Background in construction, carpentry, HVAC, solar, handyman or installation work preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and scheduling help.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair ramps, lifts, and other accessibility equipment in customers' homes.
• Perform service calls and troubleshoot mobility equipment.
• Meet customers for evaluations of ramps, stair lifts and VPL systems.
• Educate customers on proper use of mobility equipment.
• Schedule service calls and deliveries from work orders.
• Communicate with customers and provide in home technical support.
• Learn installation and repair systems through paid training.
