CenterSpan, A Lifeway Mobility Company, is seeking a Mobility Technician in Clarksburg, WV. You will install and service wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and ceiling lifts, and perform in-home evaluations and support for customers.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, customer interaction, and paid training to learn systems and procedures. A valid driver’s license and own transportation are required, with flexible scheduling and steady, year-round opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with hand and power tools preferred.
• Background in construction, carpentry, HVAC or related trades advised.
• Strong customer service and communication skills essential.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and scheduling required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, ceiling lifts, and other accessibility equipment.
• Perform service calls and troubleshoot mobility devices.
• Meet customers at their homes for evaluations of ramps and lifts.
• Educate customers on proper use of equipment.
• Schedule service calls and deliveries from work orders.
• Provide in-home technical support and communicate with customers.
• Learn installation and repair systems through paid training.
