Job summary

KPIT is seeking a mechanical design professional for our Indiana plant to support global engine programs. You will plan and participate in weekly product development meetings, drive cost/quality/delivery targets, and handle verification/validation decisions affecting performance and durability.

Requirements include 1–3 years in a new mechanical design environment and hands-on use of Creo, data analysis, and DFMEA/DVAs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a new mechanical product design environment.
• Industrial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide plant support and handle VPCRs for global projects.
• Plan and participate in weekly project meetings.
• Meet targets for cost, quality, delivery timelines.
• Makes Verif/Validation decisions affecting performance.
• Investigates system concerns and recommends actions.
• Short/long-term problem solving for engine issues.
• Work with supplier for PPAP and source release.
