Job summary

Bird, a leading micromobility company, seeks an Operations Partner to oversee an e-scooter fleet in Newark. You will ensure charging, deployment, relocation, and retrieval of vehicles to meet local transportation needs.

The role requires a hands-on, doer mindset with excellent time-management and clear communication. A valid driver’s license and vehicle access are essential; this is an independent contractor position with responsibility for own tools and schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have LLC registration in the jurisdiction.
• General liability insurance (or able to acquire within 30 days).
• General commercial auto insurance (or able to acquire within 30 days).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Access to a reliable vehicle for work-related duties, strong knowledge of local geography.
• Flexible availability including weekends.
• Comfortable learning and using new tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; stand/walk long periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end operation of the portfolio: charging, deploying, relocating, retrieving vehicles.
• Prioritize tasks and solve problems as they arise.
• Be resourceful, self-starter, take initiative, work without supervision.
