Job summary

Bird is seeking an Operations Partner in Yonkers, NY to manage the fleet of e-scooters and ensure reliable deployment to meet community needs. This is an independent contractor role, requiring you to manage your own tools and schedule.

You will use mobile technology to monitor, transport, rebalance, and maintain vehicles, aiming for safe, efficient operations and a strong, doer mindset with excellent time-management and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered business LLC.
• Must have general liability insurance (able to acquire within 30 days of onboarding).
• Must have general commercial auto insurance (able to acquire within 30 days of onboarding).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Access to a reliable vehicle for work duties.
• Strong knowledge of local geography.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Self-motivated, energetic and able to learn new skills.
• Able to translate complex problems into actionable tasks.
• Must have a warehouse space with sufficient electrical capacity to charge vehicles onsite.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end operation of the portfolio: charging, deploying, relocating and retrieving vehicles.
• Problem solve, prioritize tasks, and overcome obstacles.
