Job summary

National Seating & Mobility (NSM) is seeking a dedicated Technician to join our team in Springfield, VA. The role focuses on repairing and assembling mobility equipment, coordinating delivery, and ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately for our clients.

You will collaborate with Branch Manager, Rehab Technology Specialist, and Office Manager to ensure timely order processing, assembly, and delivery of products. We value HEARTS principles and experience in mobility solutions is a plus.

Qualifications

• The candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Educational attainment: high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service calls and makes quality repairs in multiple environments including branch, field, clinic, schools and care homes.
• Assembles seating, mobility, specialty ADL and home accessibility equipment per specs.
• Provides inventory control and counts for all custom, special orders and stock items.
• Delivers equipment as directed by Branch operations and Field leaders with instruction and customer service considerations.
• Provides technical support to Rehab Technology Specialist as needed.
