Job summary

Satellite Shelters, Inc. in the Denver area is seeking a Yard Technician who is highly organized, safety-focused and a clear communicator to support our mobile modular business.

The right candidate will contribute to a clean, efficient yard and help ensure that units are constructed and repaired to Satellite Shelters’ policies and specifications. You will manage yard organization, inventory, and loading/unloading of furniture, perform lighting/plumbing/electrical work, and engage with customers

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter able to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong problem-solving skills and practical mindset.
• Experience with utility trailers or trailer hitch setups preferred.
• Moderate carpentry and electrical experience is required or beneficial.
• Organized with attention to detail and safety.
• HVAC experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Yard organization and cleanliness.
• Mobile office material inventory management.
• Organize, maintain, load & unload furniture (Satellite Specialty Products).
• Remove and replace lighting, plumbing and electrical components.
• Perform moderate carpentry work/repair.
• Interface with customers at job sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
