Join National Mobile X-ray, a leading mobile radiology provider operating across North Carolina. We are seeking skilled and dedicated X-ray Technologists to provide high-quality medical imaging services at various long-term care facilities throughout the region. This dynamic role will involve driving a company vehicle and performing X-Ray exams, EKGs, and Ultrasound. Overview As an X-ray Technologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a sterile environment. You will follow best practices in medical imaging while contributing significantly to our healthcare team. We have immediate openings for Certified ARRT X-ray Technologists at National Mobile X-Ray, the premier provider of mobile radiology services in North Carolina. This is a travel position requiring commuting to designated facilities in the following locations: Charlotte, Greensboro, Asheville, Hickory, High Point, Fayetteville, and New Bern. Shifts are from 9am to 9pm with a 3-12 schedule. We offer a competitive relocation package and a sign-on bonus for full-time positions. Key Responsibilities: Explain procedures to patients to ensure their understanding and comfort. Properly position patients for effective imaging. Utilize radiation protection devices, such as lead shields, to ensure safety. Set X-ray equipment at appropriate angles and heights tailored to the patient's needs. Adjust controls on the X-ray machine to produce optimal images. Place exposure boards accurately during examinations. Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills for transmitting images via a web-based PACs system. Strictly follow physician's orders and instructions. Maintain accurate patient records and perform equipment adjustments as necessary. Flexibility to travel to various service locations. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
