Job summary

Medstaff Group is seeking a dependable Mobile X-Ray Technologist (ARRT) to perform portable imaging during home visits in Woodmere and surrounding Long Island. You will travel to patients' homes, position patients safely, and capture diagnostic-quality images while ensuring comfort and safety.

You must hold ARRT certification and a NY Radiologic Technologist license, have a valid driver's license, and be able to work independently.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• Active NY Radiologic Technologist license required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong patient-care and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while traveling.
• Portable/mobile X-ray experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patients' homes and perform portable X-ray examinations
• Explain procedures and help patients feel comfortable
• Position patients safely and capture clear, diagnostic-quality images
• Follow radiation safety, infection-control, and applicable standards
• Complete documentation and transmit studies for interpretation
• Maintain portable imaging equipment
• Communicate professionally with patients, caregivers, and the care team
• Manage assigned visits and travel between locations
