Job summary

MedStaff Group is seeking a Mobile X-Ray Technologist (ARRT) to provide portable diagnostic imaging across Southern Connecticut and Westchester County, NY. You will travel to nursing homes, clinics, and other facilities, performing X-ray exams and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role requires ARRT certification and state licensure, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel. A company vehicle is provided during working hours and travel time is paid.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification required.
• Appropriate state radiologic technologist license(s) for assigned coverage area.
• Portable/mobile X-ray experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare settings throughout the assigned territory.
• Perform portable X-ray examinations using digital mobile radiology equipment.
• Position patients appropriately and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Follow all radiation safety and infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required reports.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance concerns.
• Provide professional and compassionate care to patients.
• Maintain compliance with applicable state, federal, and facility requirements.
