Job summary

MedStaff Group is seeking a dependable Mobile X-Ray Technologist (ARRT) for a full-time role delivering portable diagnostic imaging across Southern Connecticut and Westchester County, NY. You will travel between nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals, performing digital mobile radiology exams.

ARRT Certification and active state radiologic licenses are required, along with a valid driver’s license and the ability to work independently on a mobile daily schedule.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification required.
• Active state radiologic technologist license for assigned coverage area.
• Must have portable/mobile X-ray experience or willingness to gain experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Travel to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare settings throughout the territory.
• Perform portable X-ray examinations using digital mobile radiology equipment.
• Position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete reports.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility requirements.

Schedule: Full-Time

Compensation: $40–$50 per Hour

MedStaff Group is currently seeking a dependable Mobile X-Ray Technologist (ARRT) for a full-time opportunity providing portable diagnostic imaging services throughout Southern Connecticut and Westchester County, NY.

The territory includes facilities throughout the Stamford, Bridgeport, and New Haven areas of Connecticut, as well as Westchester County, New York.

This is an excellent opportunity for an X-Ray Technologist who enjoys working independently, traveling between facilities, and providing essential diagnostic imaging services directly to patients.

Responsibilities

• Travel to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare settings throughout the assigned territory
• Perform portable X-ray examinations using digital mobile radiology equipment
• Position patients appropriately and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
