Job summary

National Wound Physician Group in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a part-time general surgeon to provide bedside wound care in post-acute facilities. The role offers autonomy, no night shifts, no weekend calls, and a flexible schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week.

You will visit 2–3 facilities daily within a 40–60 mile radius, perform wound rounds, document at the point of care using our EMR, and undergo paid onboarding including a 6-month wound care fellowship.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• This is a mobile practice visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
• Visit 2–3 facilities per day treating approximately 20–30 patients.
• Document at the point of care in real-time using our proprietary wound-specific EMR.
• Paid training during onboarding plus a 6-month wound care fellowship.
• W2 employment contract (no work visa sponsorship).
