Job summary

National Wound Physician Group seeks a Wound Care Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings. The role offers a mobile practice across multiple facilities with weekday hours, no nights or weekend duties, and opportunities for part-time arrangements.

The position includes paid training and a 6-month wound care fellowship, with W2 employment and benefits. Typical visits involve 2–3 facilities per day and 20–30 patients daily, within a 40–60 mile radius.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
• No work visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (SNF and LTACH).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit facilities within a 40–60 mile radius; 2–3 facilities per day; ~20–30 patients daily.
• Document clinical care in real-time during rounds using the proprietary wound EMR.
