Job summary

West Coast Wound & Skin Care is a mobile wound care company serving patients at home and in SNFs in the San Bernardino area. We seek Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to perform advanced wound care services, traveling locally within the designated region to see patients in their homes or SNFs.

Must be licensed as an NP or PA in California and be able to drive to patient homes. No experience is required; we provide extensive training, 24/7 support, and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Current state license as NP or PA
• CPR certified
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and willingness to drive within San Bernardino region

Responsibilities

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to best treat the patient
• Perform wound care procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for plan of care
• Define and document patient diagnoses
• Assure all patients are completely satisfied
• Patient education and management
• Debridement of wounds by various methods completed safely during the patient visit
• Application of topical wound care and other wound management products
• Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart, including follow-up notes
