Job summary

West Coast Wound & Skin Care is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to provide mobile advanced wound care in patients' homes and SNFs around Topeka, KS. You will travel locally within your designated region to see patients, with extensive training provided and 24/7 support.

A valid KS NP/PA license is required and driving to patient sites is essential. This on-site role emphasizes comprehensive wound management, patient education, and collaboration with care teams to achieve

Qualifications

• Current state license as an NP or PA in KS.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and minimum state liability auto insurance; local travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to treat patients.
• Perform wound care procedures as part of the plan of care.
• Document patient diagnoses accurately.
• Ensure patient satisfaction with care delivered.
• Educate patients and manage follow-up as needed.
• Debride wounds and apply wound care products during visits.
• Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart.
