Job summary

West Coast Wound & Skin Care in Pasadena, CA seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide mobile wound care in patients' homes and SNFs. You will travel locally within your region, perform wound care, order tests, document care, and educate patients.

No remote work; extensive training provided; license in CA required; CPR certification; valid driver's license and liability insurance; compassionate communication and strong teamwork valued.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an NP or PA.
• CPR Certified.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; local travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to best treat the patient.
• Perform wound care procedures as deemed necessary for the plan of care.
• Define and document patient diagnoses.
• Assure all patients are completely satisfied.
• Patient education and management.
• Debridement of wounds by various methods during the patient visit.
• Application of topical wound care and other wound management products.
• Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart, including follow-up notes.
