Job summary

LAUKOA seeks Exam and Treatment Dentist to provide dental care in mobile and portable settings across Minnesota for the MN Army National Guard. Work is primarily on weekends with some weekday coverage in a part-time capacity.

You will support Soldier dental readiness, treatment planning, radiograph review, and readiness classifications in a dynamic field environment. Qualified candidates will hold an active Minnesota dental license, CPR/BLS, and ideally a DEA number, with strong endodontic and

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota dental license with no restrictions.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• DEA number preferred.
• Professional liability insurance.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to work in mobile, portable, field-based settings.
• Basic computer skills.
• HIPAA compliance.
• Experience in a military dental readiness environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct examinations and document findings on military forms.
• Provide comprehensive dental treatment (restorative, endodontic, and/or oral surgery) in mobile settings.
• Demonstrate strong endodontic skills for molar root canal treatments.
• Perform third molar extractions when required.
• Document treatments and classify soldiers per military forms.
• Collaborate with event team and protect patient information.
