Job Description

We are looking for a self-starter Field Service Technician to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention, and increases profitability. The Technical Customer Experience Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  1. Work directly with Customer Experience, Sales, Systems Integration, CMSO, and the Product Group to ensure customer needs are met.
  2. Serve as a critical point of contact to ensure customer satisfaction during deployment and post-deployment phases.
  3. Assist with coordination among teams, troubleshoot system failures, diagnose issues, and provide solutions.
  4. Provide high-level training for administrators and end-users on product and system configuration.
  5. Train and supervise third-party integrators on the installation of mobile video devices (BWC and ICV).
  6. Facilitate customer communication regarding technical/product issue resolutions.
  7. Assist with deployment configurations and produce detailed service reports with customer sign-off.
  8. Follow all company procedures and protocols, share information across teams, and build positive customer relationships.
  9. Identify systemic issues and collaborate to develop solutions.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Electronics Technician, System Technologist, System Manager, Field Service, or IT roles.
  • Experience with Windows administration, networking, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi/router configuration, IP device configuration, and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
  • Law Enforcement environment experience is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to train and demonstrate hardware/software capabilities.
  • Experience in project management, especially installation coordination.
  • Experience working in city government or law enforcement environments is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 25-50% within the region.
  • Ability to develop cross-organizational relationships and work effectively in a matrix environment.
  • Must pass background checks per CJIS Security Policy.
Location & Requirements

This is a remote, in-region position requiring occasional overnight travel. No relocation assistance is provided. Basic requirements include 5+ years of relevant experience, ability to obtain background clearance, and willingness to travel 25-50%.
