Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking a Part-Time In-Home Veterinarian to serve the Central Valley regions of California, including Stockton, Lodi, Modesto, Manteca, and Oakdale. You’ll practice veterinary medicine in clients’ homes, providing hospice and euthanasia care with a patient‑centered, compassionate approach.

This role supports work‑life balance, with flexible 2–5 day‑per‑week options and mentoring, while you maintain independence and connect with a supportive Lap of Love community of veterinarians.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) is required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check will be conducted post-hire and before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Serve as a mobile veterinarian, visiting homes in Central Valley and surrounding areas.
• Deliver compassionate medical care while balancing professional fulfillment with personal well‑being.
