Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking a Veterinarian to provide compassionate in-home hospice care and humane euthanasia across Pittsburgh, Bethel Park, Washington, Bradford Woods, and surrounding areas. Qualifications

DVM/VMD or equivalent veterinary degree.
Active NC veterinary license or eligibility.
Valid driver's license.
Compassionate heart and commitment to end-of-life care.
Availability consistent with the position's schedule, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

Provide in-home hospice and peaceful euthanasia care for patients.
Coordinate with families to plan end-of-life care at home.
Work with a supportive team to coordinate aftercare and scheduling.

We offer 2-Day, 3-Day, 4-Day, and 5-Day employment opportunities throughout Pittsburgh, Wexford, Bradford Woods & Washington - Pennsylvania and surrounding communities.

Our compensation structure is designed to reward your dedication while providing financial stability, with 4-Day positions starting at $110,000 annually and 5-day positions offering a $135,000 annual base salary, plus additional Quarterly Performance-Based Bonus Opportunities.

Our Two, Three-Day and Self-Managed Flex Scheduling Opportunities Available with Pro-Rated Compensation adjusted based on the agreed-upon schedule.
