Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking a Veterinarian for in-home hospice and euthanasia care across Anaheim, Huntington Beach, Santa Ana and surrounding CA areas. The role offers both full-time and part-time schedules with flexible opportunities to support work-life balance and professional independence.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Active North Carolina veterinary license or eligibility.
• Valid driver's license.
• Compassionate heart and commitment to exceptional end-of-life care.
• Availability consistent with the position’s schedule, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and peaceful euthanasia care.
• Coordinate with families and aftercare staff to ensure seamless appointments.

Who We’re Looking For

Our compensation structure is designed to reward your dedication while providing financial stability, with 4-Day positions starting at $120,000 annually and 5-day positions offering a $145,000 annual base salary, plus additional Quarterly Performance‑Based Bonus Opportunities.

Our Two, Three-Day and Self‑Managed Flex Scheduling Opportunities Available with Pro‑Rated Compensation adjusted based on the agreed‑upon schedule.
