Job summary

Lap of Love invites you to join our in-home veterinary hospice team in Akron and surrounding areas. As a mobile veterinarian, you will provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care, visiting families in their homes to support pets during meaningful moments.

The role emphasizes work-life balance, flexible schedules (2–5 days), and ongoing mentorship within a supportive community of veterinary professionals. A strong focus on well-being and professional fulfillment is core to our culture.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
• U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Operate as a mobile veterinarian serving Akron and surrounding areas.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered veterinary care.
• Participate in onboarding and ongoing mentorship programs.
• Balance professional responsibilities with personal wellbeing.
