Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is hiring for Mobile Inspector roles across levels. The position requires inspecting dealer vehicles on-site and documenting condition in line with Manheim standards.

You will work with various client sites, maintain schedules, and engage dealers to grow mobile inspection participation. We offer tiered hourly pay by level, with incentives and guaranteed periods, and opportunities to advance within the Manheim Mobile Inspections team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimal automotive knowledge preferred
• 0–1 years of automotive‑related experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic to advanced vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim inspection standards.
• Document and verify VINs, mileage, options, and condition details.
• Inspect exterior and interior vehicle components and document findings.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and data entries in inspection systems.
• Engage with dealer clients to communicate inspection results and value of mobile services.
• Manage inspection schedules and adapt to daily appointment changes.
