Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking Mobile Inspectors (Levels 1–Senior) to perform on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients. Inspectors document conditions per Manheim standards, build client relationships, and drive participation in mobile services.

The role offers hourly pay with incremental incentives and a prorated guarantee during initial months. A personal-vehicle use reimbursement is provided, with opportunities to grow within the territory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimal automotive knowledge preferred (body and mechanical).
• 0-1 years of automotive-related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections per Manheim standards.
• Document vehicle condition and data accurately in inspection systems.
• Build trust with dealer clients and promote mobile inspection services.
• Prepare and submit daily activity and production reports (Salesforce.com).
• Collaborate with teams to support client success and process improvements.
