Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to perform mobile vascular diagnostic imaging studies for outpatient offices and off-site locations. You will independently perform vascular ultrasounds to assist physicians in identifying arterial circulation issues and venous reflux, prepare patients, operate equipment, and document findings in preliminary reports.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an approved Ultrasound

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Graduate of approved program in Ultrasound Technology (Required)
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - Preferred
• RDMS- Required
• Valid Drivers License
• Minimum Work Experience 1 year

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients for exam, transferring patient to ultrasound table and positioning patient properly.
• Operating ultrasound equipment to produce quality images for diagnostic purposes and recording and interpreting findings of the studies in a preliminary report.
• Exams will take place in our outpatient office as well as off-site locations. Travel between sites will be required.
