Job summary

Constellation is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Baltimore-area power plant. The role involves performing maintenance on pumps, turbines, and rotating equipment, while adhering to strict safety and radiation-control standards.

Responsibilities include interpreting plant prints, supporting operations and engineering, and collaborating on major projects. The qualified candidate will have an associate degree in related tech or equivalent experience and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Power Plant Technology, Engineering Technology, or Electronics.
• HS Diploma with minimum of 12 months of trade or technical experience in Power Plant Technology or relevant field experience.
• Relevant Vocational Technical High School diploma with 6 months of Shop Experience at Fort Smallwood.
• Ability to obtain unescorted nuclear plant access.
• Maintain Radiation Protection qualifications and training.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on pumps, gearboxes, turbines, bearings, boilers, pipes, valves and related equipment.
• Adheres to maintenance standards and safe practices.
• Work on rotating equipment alignment and on cross-functional projects.
• Provide technical support to plant operations, maintenance staff and engineering.
• Interpret power plant prints and use proper tools for maintenance tasks.
