Job Overview:
In this role, you will perform mobile maintenance and repair services for trailers, trucks, and light-duty vehicles, primarily supporting one dedicated customer while also servicing company-owned equipment. You will begin each day by picking up a fully equipped service truck from the shop and travel to the nearby customer site in Vandalia, Ohio. Core responsibilities will include DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, brake and suspension repairs, electrical diagnostics, liftgate servicing, tire replacements, and minor welding and bodywork. You will also handle light automotive repairs as needed.
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, a high level of attention to detail, and professional customer service skills. The primary goal will be to ensure vehicles and equipment remain in safe, operational condition while maximizing uptime for their customer and internal fleet. Performance will be measured by labor sold and the quality and efficiency of completed repairs.
Background Profile:
2+ years of experience in trailer repair
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Benefits, Compensation, & Features:
Hourly rate: $20 - $25/hr plus bonus
