This role requires 3+ years hands-on experience and the ability to work with various types of Class 7 and 8 trucks and trailers. The Diesel/trailerTechnician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles are operating at peak performance and DOT standards. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in diesel engines and related systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Class 7 and 8 trucks and trailers, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Estimate and Perform trailer mechanical and body repair.
• Perform DOT and Preventive Maintenance inspections to include proper completion of associated paperwork.

Skills

• Estimate and perform Heavy trailer body repair, side rails, posts, roofs, headers, landing gear, etc.
• Perform heavy trailer body repairs.
• Familiarity with dealership processes is a plus.
• Excellent Computer diagnostic knowledge.
• Strong vehicle maintenance skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs.
• Competence in reading and interpreting schematics for effective troubleshooting.
• Computer literacy is a must.
